TrailerGrade is run by Cole DuSablon, who also owns a trailer dealership.
TrailerGrade's founder owns Springpoint Trailer Sales in Newton, Illinois. As of October 26, 2026, Springpoint currently sells new Liberty, Doolittle, and Platinum trailers. Springpoint's listings on this site may also include other brands taken in on trade or sold used. Springpoint's trailers can appear in For Sale like any other dealer's, with no special placement, badge, or sort order. Springpoint's prices are never used in our price ranges. Scores are calculated from published facts by the same method for every brand, and nothing about what Springpoint carries changes a score. Report cards for the three brands Springpoint sells carry this disclosure.
Every score is calculated from facts shown on the report card: NHTSA recall filings, the maker's published warranty, advertised prices from public listings, and what the maker publishes about itself on its own website. Build specs are shown as facts and are not graded. A score is not a safety rating and not a guarantee about any single trailer. Read the full method. To report an error, use the report form.
No brand, dealer, or sponsor can buy a grade or pay to change one. Sponsors have no say in what we write.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Dealer spots and sponsored pages are always labeled Sponsored. Paid placement never affects a grade.
Some photos on this site are original photos taken by TrailerGrade. Each one is labeled with the brand of trailer it shows, such as Pictured: Doolittle dump trailer, and no brand paid for or supplied them. The rest of the trailer photos are AI generated illustrations made for TrailerGrade. They show a type of trailer, such as cargo or stock, and not any real brand, model, dealer, or listing. Photos on For Sale listings come from the seller and show the trailer being sold.
Recall data comes from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). We count only campaigns that name trailers we cover, and we show NHTSA's own wording in labeled quotes. Typical prices come from thousands of public dealer and classified listings across the US, refreshed monthly. Each range is the middle 80 percent of advertised prices for one exact brand, trailer type, and condition, split by size where there are enough listings. We never blend trailer types into one brand number, and we show a range only when at least five listings from at least two different sellers match. Prices from the dealership our founder owns are never used. Data can be incomplete or out of date, so always confirm specs, prices, and recall status with the maker or your dealer before you buy.
