We want TrailerGrade to be accurate. If you are a trailer maker, a dealer, or a shopper and you think something on a report card is wrong, tell us.
You can also email [email protected]. Either way, include:
Within 5 business days we reply to say whether we are changing the page, need more information, or are not changing it, and why. If a fact is wrong, we fix it once we have checked it, add a dated note to the page, and add it to a public log of corrections. If the fix changes a score, we update the score.
Because every score is calculated from the facts shown, we do not change a score on request. We change the facts when they are wrong, and the score follows.
If you are a maker named on a report card, you can send a statement of up to 200 words. With your permission we post it on that brand's page in a clearly labeled box, without editing it other than for length or for anything unlawful.
Examples: a wrong warranty length, the wrong headquarters, a recall attributed to the wrong brand, a recall count that includes a campaign about a different product, or a price that does not match the listings shown. These get fixed.
Recall information comes from NHTSA. If a campaign was filed under another company's name, belongs to a different product line, or NHTSA has updated or withdrawn it, send us the NHTSA campaign number and we will correct the page. We cannot remove a campaign that NHTSA lists for the brand when it names that brand's trailers.
We review any request that says content is unlawful. Send the page, the exact words, and the reason.
We use what you send only to review the correction. We may quote a non sensitive part of it in the public log unless you ask us not to.
No corrections yet.
New recalls, price moves, and brand scores, once a month. No spam.
